What to do if an Expend card gets lost (and what to do when it gets found as well)

If your Expend card has been lost or stolen, it can be locked to prevent it from being used for any transactions. You can lock a card in the mobile app or web app.

Locking a card

In the web app

  1. Go to app.expend.io and sign in with your Expend account details.

  2. Open the sidebar menu, go to CARDS & PAYMENTS, and click Expend Cards.

  3. Go to the lost card and click the โš™ (Card Security Settings) button on the right.

  4. Click the Enable card setting so that it slides to the OFF position.

  5. Click Close. The card is shown as Locked.

In the mobile app

  1. Tap Cards.

  2. Go to your Expend card.

  3. Tap Lock Card and confirm.

Unlocking a card

In the web app

  1. Go to app.expend.io and sign in with your Expend account details.

  2. Open the sidebar menu, go to CARDS & PAYMENTS, and click Expend Cards.

  3. Go to the lost card and click the โš™ (Card Security Settings) button on the right.

  4. Click the Enable card setting so that it slides to the OFF position.

  5. Click Close. The card is shown as Active.

In the mobile app

  1. Tap Cards.

  2. Go to your Expend card.

  3. Tap Unlock Card and confirm.

Cancelling a lost card

If you are certain that the physical card wonโ€™t be found, you can cancel the card. Please see the following article: Cancel an Expend card
