It is possible to be a member or administrator of different organisations in Expend.
For example, you may own or manage multiple companies and want to use Expend to manage expenses for all of them. At the same time, you would want to keep their data completely separate.
If you are already signed up to Expend and belong to an organisation, you can create a new organisation right from the web app without going through the sign-up process again.
You will be using your existing Expend account and become an administrator for the new organisation.
To create the new organisation:
Sign in to the Expend web app.
In the top right corner of the web app, click your organisation name.
In the drop-down menu that opens, click Create New Organisation.
Enter the Organisation name and select the Business location and Primary business currency.
Click the Create Organisation button.
The new organisation becomes available in the organisation drop-down menu. Note that your current organisation remains the active one until you select the new organisation in the drop-down menu.
From now on, you have access to both organisations in the Expend web app, using the same Expend account – there’s no need to log out from one and log in with a separate account for the other. You can switch between them using the organisation drop-down menu the top right corner of the web app.
Please note that these organisations are completely separate entities. There is no data shared between them. Billing will also be separate for each organisation. You are just a member of both and can access them using the same Expend account.
